VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE :  Please read updated (May 14th) StropMan status...

Dear valued past and potential StropMan customers,

   Up until now I have been making and selling strops to support my wood carving habit/passion.  I made strops in my spare time these last couple of years while making a living landscaping.  Due in part to the ongoing and worst drought in West Texas history (it is raining today!) we closed the landscape company April 1st, sold the house and are moving to Mississippi May 30th.  The last thing we want to do now after such overwhelming response (most recently due to an incredible youtuber jdavis 882) from so many awesome customers is to put the StropMan venture on hold.  We are however excited about these changes, consider it a blessing and can't wait to get there and open for business.  

During the next few weeks we will only ship items in stock as time permits. I think I have set correctly the last currently available strop inventory.  The only way I could figure to do this is set the strop and color available but you will have to set no compounds needed on each option to see if the strop is on hand then add stop only to the cart. If you need compounds then go over to the compound page and add compounds as needed (while supplies last... more on the way soon).  This will end up cost a couple extra dollars but I can't figure how to program the site otherwise.  If your strop is not available and/or you would prefer to use the contact us page requesting to place an order for June here is how.  Put the strop (or strops) name at the beginning of your message (example: HD Strop Wanted...).  We will contact you when we have the new shop set up and if you are still interested either direct you to StropMan.com or send a paypal invoice and fill your order as payment is made.  

This unavoidable and very temporary interruption in service will allow us to pack the shop and personal belongings. The move will have us within 10 miles of the family farm where I spent many a summer as a kid with my Grandad.  In this new and beautiful setting rest assured I will very soon again be building the best strops I know how for some of the best customers one could ask for.  If you are not in immediate desperate need of a strop we hope you will either place an order, use the contact us with an order request, or at the least please bookmark our site and check back with us about June 3rd. We have always highly valued each and every customer and I assure you this will never change.  Thanks for your support and patience while we make the 750 mile move to much greener pastures!
